The submitted invention refers to the application of magnesium pyridoxal-5'-phosphate-glutaminate for preparation of pharmaceutics suitable for reduction of LDL-bound peroxides and for prophylaxis against vascular lesions and diseases originating from them, in the absence of hypercholesteremia or hyperlipoidemia.
