KARAOKE APPARATUS DETECTING REGISTER OF LIVE VOCAL TO TUNE HARMONY VOCAL

A karaoke apparatus is constructed to perform a karaokeaccompaniment part and a karaoke harmony part foraccompanying a live vocal part. A pickup device collects asinging voice of the live vocal part. A detector device analyzesthe collected singing voice to detect a musical register thereof atwhich the live vocal part is actually performed. A harmonygenerator device generates a harmony voice of the karaokeharmony part according to the detected musical register so thatthe karaoke harmony part is made consonant with the live vocalpart. A tone generator device generates an instrumental tone ofthe karaoke accompaniment part in parallel to the karaokeharmony part. (Figure 5)
