DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM FOR THE ANALYSIS OF ELEVATOR TROUBLE

Operational data of an elevator (E) are constant-ly and successively stored in RAM (26) of a terminalsupervisor unit (2). If an elevator develops a troubleand the state of the trouble lasts for a predeterminedtime, this trouble is elaborated and is reported fromthe supervisor unit to a supervision center (31). Thereport of the trouble includes data relevant to thetrouble such as the place of occurrence of the trouble,the code number of the trouble-developed elevator andthe kind of the trouble. Although the data relevant tothe trouble are collected from the RAM (26), they arenot the data at the time point of the elaboration ofthe trouble but the data at the time point thatpredetermined specific data became indicative of thetrouble. Trouble-indicating states of the specificdata are preset for each kind of trouble in a presetvalue storage unit (27) and are constantly comparedwith the corresponding actual specific data. By col-lecting relevant data before corroboration of atrouble, an investigation for a cause of the troublethrough an analysis of data can be performed more ac-curately. The trouble-indicating states of thespecific data are readily present in the preset valuestorage unit from the supervision center. (FIGURE 3)
