A frequency-swept beam of light (A) is split by a two or three-dimensional object (C) that directs light against a frequency-selective storage material (F), in front of which a three-dimensional holographic reconstruction of the entire time period or parts thereof can be formed at a given rate by selecting frequency sweep velocity for resolution beam impingeing against the storage material.
