The present invention is an electronic device capable of reproducing the calls of some species of animals, with an accuracy enabling it to be used as a decoy or for the observation and study of these species. The equipment is of limited size (the section incorporating the controls can be held in the palm), robust and moisture-resistant. The various sounds to be reproduced are stored in the form of digital data in one or more integrated memory circuits, each wired in such a way as to form a component which can be removed from the equipment and interchanged by the user.
