Method for restoring works of art, particularly pictorial works of art

The invention consists of a method in which a preliminary study is made of the work of art and of its state of preservation: the characterization of damage, accentuation of deficiencies (defects) and its corresponding visualization of details by means of the making of graphs, maps of damage, black-and-white photographs. IT techniques are incorporated into the preliminary studies. Subsequently, there is direct implementation of a reinstatement using computized techniques. Its method of application, laboratory tests regarding the behaviour of the results obtained; and advantages over the traditional reinstatement technique.
