A method for preparing an aqueous food supplement for cattle whereinwater and at least one substance is used for preparing an aqueoussolution of micro- and macro-elements. At least phosphoric acidbeing added to said water in order to lower the pH of said aqueousfood supplement to be obtained to such an extent, that substantiallyno phosphate precipitation takes place and at least one substantiallywater insoluble substance is dissolved in said water acidified byphosphoric acid. An additional food supplement comprising a substantiallysaturated solution of calcium chloride and/or magnesium chloridecan be added to the food supplement.
