METHOD OF SELECTING A CONTEST ROUND WINNER FROM A PLURALITY OF CONTEST ROUND ENTRANTS

A method of selecting a contest round winner from aplurality of contest round entrants according to the presentinvention can be utilized, for example, in fund raisingactivities. The method of the present invention requires theactive participation of the entrants, and the method providesentertainment for both entrants and spectators alike. Entrantspurchase contest tokens having unique identification indiciamarked thereon, and, in response to a start signal, the contestround entrants throw the contest tokens toward an identifiedtarget. The contest token which lands relatively closest to thetarget is declared to be the winning token, and the purchaserthereof is determined to be the contest round winning entrant.The contest may be repeated according to the present inventionon a plurality of occasions in order to select a plurality ofwinning entrants, and then a champion may be selected fromamongst the winning entrants by a subsequent championship roundof the contest. The identified target may be changed in thechampionship round of the contest.
