Every year fires occur in occupied residences and institutions - hospitals, long term carecentres, chronic care facilities, apartment buildings and hotels. Employees in most ofthese facilities are required to initiate an alarm or take other steps to save lives andproperty. This requires familiarity with the fire alarm system. However, manyemployees simply panic during an emergency because they are not sufficiently practicedin the use of the fire alarm system. This fire alarm training unit called LIFE LINE wasdesigned to provide efficient mass training of employees and residents in theidentification and use of the fire protection devices.
