Separator for an electrodialysis cell and electrodialysis cell equipped with these separators

A separator for electrodialysis cells comprised of a rectangular frame that defines an electrodialysis compartment and contains two rows of orifices; each row is situated along one of two opposite sides of the frame. At least one orifice in each side is connected to the electrodialysis compartment. Each row of orifices comprises at least one line of four equidistant orifices; the electrodialysis compartment is connected to an end orifice in the line of one of the sides and with an orifice on the other side which is not in the end position. Disclosed also is an electrodialysis cell comprising three compartments and containing such separators.
