A coupling device presenting a transfer device (100) enabling displacement of both fibre optic end surfaces (4,4') relatively parallel to an end surface (4,4'). Said device presents an expansion element (7) which moves end surfaces (4,4') in relation to each other according to its expansion or contraction. This coupling device has the advantage of enabling optically adjustable multichannel filters with temperature compensation, optical attenuators and wave guide switches to be produced in a simple manner.
