A detection system whereby irregularities, roughnesses, positions, movement velocities or material specifications are detected of surfaces of brushes, whereby according to the figure as example a brush (1) is presented whereby a position difference is made between the face with drillings (19) and the face without drillings (20), whereby herefore a medium is sent through a pressure and flter unit (7) through the conductors (2) and (3) towards the detection places (19) and (20), whereby the medium under influence of the surface deformations and the material compositions will whirl, whereby depending of the whirls created this will produce a smaller or larger acoustical noise signal, whereby the acoustical signal is received, through the conductors (13) and (14) by the detectors (15) and (16) and processed in the driving unit (17), so that a signal is sent to the machine according to the position of the object (1).
