A detection system in which irregularities, asperities, positions, moving velocities or material specifications are detected from surface areas of brushes, in which according to figure as an example a brush (1) has been proposed wherein a position distinction is made between the plane with bores (19) and the plane without bores ( 20), wherein for this purpose a medium via pressure and filter unit (7) via the conductors (2) and (3) are sent to the detection sites (19) and (20), wherein the medium will swirling under the influence of the surface deformation and material composition , where depending on the generated swirls this will result in a smaller or larger acoustic noise signal, wherein the acoustic signal through the conductors (13) and (14) is received by the detectors (15) and (16) and processed in the control unit (17) , so that a signal is sent to the machine with regard to the position of the object (1).
