STENTS AND STENT DELIVERY AND DILATATION SYSTEM FOR BIFURCATION LESIONS

A system and method are provided for dilatation of, and delivery and deployment of stents (74, 96) at a bifurcation (10). The system includes two guidewires (36, 38), one disposed in each branch (14, 16) of the bifurcation (10). A device (50, 64) and stents (74, 96) are provided which allow accurate dilatation and stenting of the bifurcation (10), without removing the guidewires (36, 38), and such that the stents (74, 96) closely conform to the geometry of the bifurcation (10).
