New metallocene compounds (II) and their synthetic intermediates (I) used for olefin polymerization catalysts represented by the general formulas (I) and (II)    (wherein X can be identical or different and is each independently of one another a halogen atom, M¹ is a group IV transition metal atom, A is a nitrogen or phosphorus atoms, R¹ is an aryl group, R² is a saturated hydrocarbon group having 1-10 carbon atoms, whereby each of R² can bind one another to constitute a ring containing A and M¹, L¹ and L² can be each other identical or different and are a substituted cyclopentadienyl, indenyl, substituted indenyl or substituted fluorenyl groups, B is a hydrocarbon having 1-20 carbon atoms, silylene having 1-20 carbon atoms, oligosilylene or germylene groups, binding to L¹ and L², and M¹ can be also coordinated with an ether or an amine at any coordination number.).
