A mascara brush comprises a shaft (1) having, at one end thereof (2), clusters of bristles (3) or a foam portion, at least a portion of said shaft having an arcuate, non rectilinear shape so as to avoid the anatomic parts of the face which form obstacles in the vicinity of the region to be made up. The brush particularly allows mascara to be more easily applied to the eyelashes.
