The present invention provides a method and apparatus for optimizing the process of an SBR (Sequencing Batch Reactor) by automatically measuring the specific oxygen uptake rate (SOUR) and nitrate nitrogen in a biological wastewater treatment process in real time. More specifically, in real time of the ratio of oxygen and nitrogen nitrate to optimize the microbial activity by appropriate substrate distribution in the biological wastewater treatment process, and to automatically control the nitrification-denitrification reaction according to the optimum conditions By using the automatic measuring device, the process cycle of the reactor can be automatically converted in real time according to various changes in the inflow water quality and other environmental conditions to secure the stability of the discharged water and maximize the treatment efficiency of organic matter and nutrients.
