INNER TANK REFRIGERANT EXCESS SHORTAGE INDICATING METHOD OF A CAR AIR-CONDITIONER

The coolant amount abnormality indicating method consists of the coolant amount detection(S1), the coolant amount abnormality detection(S2), and the coolant amount abnormality indication(S3). The method, at the coolant amount detection, detects the coolant amount inside of the air conditioner by using the pressure sensor while it is running and at the coolant amount abnormality detection, detects the abnormality of the coolant excessive amount condition or the insufficient amount condition by comparing the detected coolant amount(P) with the desired value(K1,K2) and at the coolant amount abnormality indication, repeats the coolant detection if the coolant amount is in normal condition. Also, if the coolant amount is in the excessive or the insufficient condition, it alerts driver of the coolant amount abnormality by activating the indicator installed on the dash board.
