The present invention relates to an automatic appearance inspection system of a vehicle body specification and an inspection method thereof that automatically inspects whether parts assembled at an assembly plant of an automobile body are assembled into a component suitable for a model of a vehicle and a specification of the vehicle body. The system uses CCD cameras to take images of the roof and rear of the car body and analyze them with a computer for abnormalities.It emits a warning sound and informs workers of the car's problem areas so that they can be repaired. It is a system to send to the next process.
