COMPOSITION OF GELATIN MASS FOR RECTAL CAPSULE MAKING

FIELD: chemical-pharmaceutical industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new composition of gelatin mass used for rectal capsules making. Capsules were filled with oil-soluble substances on hydrophobic base (sea-buckthorn, rose, Saint-John's-wort oil and others). Composition of gelatin mass for capsule making has, wt.-%: gelatin 30-42; glycerol 8-13; sorbitol 6-8; glucose 0.5-3.0; preserving agent 0.2-0.3; dye 0.3-2.0, and distilled water - the rest. Composition has glucose as a sugar-containing component, ruberosum (colored sugar) as a dye. EFFECT: increased quality of soft gelatin capsule, improved elasticity, decreased time of capsule degradation, prolonged storage (1!5 year). 2 cl, 2 tbl
