METHOD FOR RECONDITIONING WORN PARTS OF RAILROAD EQUIPMENT BY PLASMA-POWDER BUILDING-UP

FIELD: repair of defective or damaged machine parts, mainly, railroad transport. SUBSTANCE: method includes dismantling of worn parts from corresponding units of equipment, thickness nondestructive testing, revealing parts useful for reconditioning and their testing. Then treated layer is cleaned from corrosion, prepared for building-up by shot-blasting, heating unlderlayer and preliminary plasma heating by electric potential method, deposition of built-in metal by plasma spraying, finishing abrasive grinding of built-up surface and subsequent testing and marking. Finishing abrasive grinding is carried with heating of built-up surface by electric potential which is ensured by supply to part of potential with voltage 0.1-12.0 V. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 tbl
