FIELD: chemical technology, organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of synthesis of trimethylsilyl derivatives of carboxylic acid amides. Method involves interaction of amides with trimethylchlorosilane in acetonitrile in the presence of sodium iodide and triethylamine, heating at 50-70 C for 15-20 min followed by extraction with pentane and isolation of the end product by rectification. Yield is 92- -95%. Synthesized derivatives of carboxylic acid amides are used for synthesis of drugs, in chromatography, spectroscopy of steric hindranced phenols, ketosteroids, nucleosides, prostaglandins. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis.
