METHOD OF PREPARING SUBERIN FROM BIRCH BARK

FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: birch bark is activated preliminary under conditions of explosive autohydrolysis at the following parameters: pressure is 3-5 MPa, temperature is 180-260 C, activation time is 60-360 s followed by hydrolysis in an aqueous-spirituous or an aqueous-alkaline medium and at the further acidification of hydrolyzate. Method is used for isolation of valuable organic compounds used in medicine, chemical and perfume industry from the wood waste processing.
