FIELD: seismometry, seismology, testing and measurement of parameters of vibrations of ground on land and in sea caused by man-made or natural vibration sources. SUBSTANCE: optimum relations found on basis of relations between internal and external outlines of bimorph disc piezoelement, cylindrical support and ring electrodes obtained theoretically and in experiments make it possible to enhance sensitivity of geophones and to manufacture geophones with identical technical characteristics ( sensitivity, resonance frequency, etc ). Internal radius of ring electrodes of bimorph disc piezoelement is equal to that of cylindrical support member and their external radius equals ( 0.3-0.6 ) radius of bimorph disc piezoelement. Ratio of radii of bases of support member and disc piezoelement amounts to ( 0.1-0.3 ). Bimorph piezoelectric geophones identical by coefficient are manufactured by regulation of area of electrodes of piezoelement with feed of vibrations of constant amplitude to piezoelement and with simultaneous recording of output signal from geophone. EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity of geophones, manufacture of geophones with identical technical characteristics. 4 cl, 2 dwg
