The vehicle has a cabin and a box construction (18) behind it on a vehicle longitudinal frame for the accommodation of a useful load. The box construction is fixed by standard connecting points (19) on a standard frame (17) extending over the width of the construction. The longitudinal frame carries an intermediate frame (15) with standard connections (16) for removable connection to the standard frame and for mounting and removal of the box construction. The standard frame has front and/or rear extensions (20,21) narrower than the frame. the box construction extends along the extension region(s) as far as a region (26,27) below the standard frame. This area below the standard frame gives access to the vehicle pumps and pumping controls, electrical switching devices, current generator and hydroelectric equipment.
