Inlays (18) of smaller dimension than the mortar channel (16) width in this same direction allow two inlays to be inserted in each channel so they overlap in the channel direction and support the respective channel walls, possibly via interposed mortar layers. The two inlays are inserted so as to reverse the force direction in such a way that the pressure load on the two inlays acts normal to the channel body walls. The force reversal is effected by wedge or toggle lever effect or their combination and the inlays consist of bars in the channel inserted in parallel so their opposing and parallel wedge surfaces (20) thrust against one another, possibly via mortar. In a variant, the inlays come in sphere or ball form with differing diameter in any one channel.
