Applying all-round label from strip roll using pull-off unit on bottle or similar

The method includes a pulling-off unit for separating label strip (33) from a label strip delivery spool (32), and is wound in a stretched condition on the bottle, and terminating with the label end edge is fixed at the starting edge. The label strip is stretch in a running direction seen before the pull-off unit. The pull-off unit is prearranged with a sensor for identifying cutting marks on the label strip. The stretching of the label strip results in the running direction of the label strip seen before the sensor. The stretch rate of the label strip is adjustable, pref. stepless. The compensating roller regulator (31) also controls an electric brake (35), arranged at the label delivery roll (32).
