In a process for manufacturing a hollow moulding in a resin impregnated fibrous material(1) an elastic core(3) is wrapped in the fibre material, placed in a tool) and heated. Pressure exerted by a gas in the core presses the fibrous reinforcement(1) against the inside of the mould during resin polymerisation.
