Two-way ratchet drive for esp. retractable undercarriage in ultra-light aircraft

A two-way ratchet (8) drive unit has a reverse-position selector (9), by means of which the ratchet engages in the forward or reverse directions as required. In changing the selection, the selector (9) is moved through a spring-load dead point, when the spring re-engages in the reverse direction.
