Tinnitus masking device fitted to human ear

The tinnitus masking device is provided in the form of a hearing aid with a tubular body (1). This is inserted in the ear passage (4) at one end and fits between the rear of the external ear and the temporal bone in the petrous region at the opposite end. The tubular body can be inserted in the ear passage via an opening behind the ear. The end of the tubular body lying on the outside of the ear incorporates a holder for the battery required for operation of the device.
