Simple, efficient preparation of stable endohedral fullerene, especially containing non metal or metalloid

Preparation of stable endohedral fullerene (I) of the structure Z@Cx; in which x - 60; comprises implanting a Z atom in the fullerene by simultaneous preparation and interaction of both fullerene and low-energy accelerated Z particles in a vacuum vessel. The fullerene is then removed from the vessel, dissolved in solvent and dried. Also claimed is the apparatus used.
