Ionising chamber for radiometric measurements with high sensitivity

The ionising chamber for radiometric measurements, especially surface measurement such as at a web passing across it, has a number of defined measurement sections (2) within the housing (3) next to each other with collecting electrodes (6). The collecting electrodes (6) are linked by electrical connections (14), which pass through the insulator (13) of a gastight multiple passage to the exterior. The insulator (13) has a common conductive zone round the electroconductive connectors (14), and is insulated against the housing (3) and the connectors (14), but at an electrode potential when there is no current present. The electrodes are tensed film or film strips or tensed wires.
