The suspension device has a frame (16) and an under-frame (18). The under-frame can swivel outwards on a first axle (50) relative to the frame. A support (24) and a suspension element are fitted on a pole. The support swivels outwards on a second axle (68) at right angles to the first axle. The suspension element can be positioned in movable engagement with the support, so that an inwards movement is attainable relative to the support. A hydraulic swivel cylinder is connected between the frame and the under-frame, so that the under-frame is hingeable about the first axle. A hydraulic tilting cylinder is connected between the under-frame and the support, to tilt the support about the second axle. A hydraulic lifting cylinder is connected between the under-frame and the suspension element, to move the suspension element.
