The drilling tube (2) has a detachable tip (8) at its lower end. The charge (5) is located in the tube such that upward movement of the charge in the hole is prevented and at the same time, the charge and tip are coupled together. Also claimed are the drill tip used in this operation and the coupling (20) section which joins to it.
