The perambulator has two seat/recliner inserts (10,11) fixed directly or indirectly on the support frame (13). The connecting area for the first insert (10) is vertically offset from the connecting area of the second insert so that the end areas of the two inserts overlap. The areas of the inserts can overlap at the foot and/or head end. The seat inserts are fixed on two adaptors (12) fixed on the support frame at the sides. The adaptors can be fixed on the frame at two different installation positions turned by an angle of 180 degrees The adaptors can be plate-shaped and fixed by securable locking elements.
