An intraocular lens (10) having an optic region (12) and an anchor plate (14) attached to the optic region (12) and extending radially outwardly therefrom at diametrically opposite ends of the optic region, and a pair of resilient haptic loop members (16) attached to the anchor plate (14) and displaced thereby from the optic region (12).
