Solid acids catalyst for the conversion of paraffins and a method for the paraffin conversion with the use of the same

A solid acid catalyst for paraffin conversion which comprises an acid salt of a heteropoly acid and a metal of Group VIII and a process for paraffin conversion using catalyst thereof. The catalyst has high activity for paraffin conversion reaction and is non-corrosive and readily separated from reactants.
