PURPOSE: To obtain simultaneously quality of printing with no blot by using an original plate for stencil printing and quality of printing with no white drop- out by using a heat-sensitive recording sheet. ;CONSTITUTION: A sheet discriminating switch 48 discriminates whether an original plate for stencil printing is inserted into a printing plate making-up apparatus or a heat-sensitive recording sheet 200 is inserted and when the original plate for stencil printing is detected, the first mode is selected and a thermal head 32 and a carrying and head pressing motor are driven in such a way that an optimum image corresponding to an original paper of a heat-sensitive stencil plate of the original plate for stencil printing is formed to form a mirror image.
