The rotary control valve ensures in the closed position a perfect seal of the fluid between upstream and downstream of the valve. The valve assembly body is made up of a body (1), a rotary shaft (2), two bearings (3), a solidly fixed conical circular seating (4) and a circular blanking plate (5) with double eccentricity mountings (ex1,ex2), the latter being keyed to the rotary shaft. It is characterised in that the two main mechanical pieces ensure sealing when the moving plate comes up against the seat and this closure defines a circular line. This line is called the base circle, which is the sealing face of the plate and the seat, and is geometrically defined by a right angle cone section with a circular base.
