Pallet for moving lawns, especially for sports or football stadium surfaces

The pallet (1) has a perforated base (2), with a polygonal form, pref. quadrilateral and having an edge (3), to carry a lawn panel. At least one of the side edges (4) of the pallet has a lower side (4) which is chamfered (5) to cooperate with a fork (6) which is tapered and movable to position the pallet on the fork. Two opposed sides of the pallet can have a chamfer at their lower edges. The base of the pallet can be reinforced by one or more cross bars (7). The base can have rings to aid removal of the pallet.
