P The invention relates to an anatomical prosthesis (1) specially adapted for the inguinal region and intended for the repair of inguinal hernias by laparoscopic posterior and extraperitoneal route. It comprises a first (2) and a second (3) plate, each comprising a porous and flexible prosthetic material, and being connected together according to a connection line (4) by a connection means (5). The two plates are asymmetrical with respect to each other, and in a deployed configuration of the prosthesis, the second plate (3) has at least one wavy developed shape (9), and anatomical to match the general shape of the structures lower inguinal, and in correspondence the connecting line (4) has at least one wavy curved shape, the generatrix describing this developed shape (9) and passing through the connecting line (4) being directed at an opening angle theta to more equal to 150 deg. compared to the plan of the first coat (2). /P
