The composition contains as the active substance an inhibitor of proteinases selected from the group of aprotinin, a derivative thereof, or an aprotinin-like substance in the form of an aqueous solution or solid micronized particles or a size in the range of from 0.5 to 20 m. The aqueous solution contains the active substance in an amount of from 1500 to 10,000 KIU/ml.PPThe composition is proposed for application in treatment and prophylaxis of predominantly viral respiratory diseases.
