PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a surface-treated steel sheet for a film-laminated two-piece can suppressing the deterioration of the worked adhesion and corrosion resistance of the can subject to severe working after being laminated with a film and applicable to all kinds of contents. ;SOLUTION: This surface-treated steel sheet is obtained by forming an electrolytically chromated film consisting of a lower metallic chromium layer at ≥30 mg/m2 per face and an upper chromium oxide hydride layer at 5-30 mg/m2 per face, expressed in terms of metallic chromium, on at least one face of a substrate steel sheet and further forming the org. matter layer of a copolymer polyester resin obtained by graft-polymerizing a carbonyl-contg. radical- polymerizable monomer thereon.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
