PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an effective period to be a preservable period of food or longer, obtain heat resistance which may not be deactivated by baking or the like and make an aluminum foil inactive by solving or dispersing shells of Crustacea, oyster shells, their extracts or chitosan in a coating material. ;SOLUTION: Chitinous shells of prawns, crabs or the like, fine ground oyster shells or extracts as an antibacterial material are mixed into a coating material by solving or dispersing. Either a thermosetting resin or a thermoplastic resin is usable as a coating base material, wherein it may be baked and hardened on an aluminum foil after roll coating such as gravure printing or extrusion coated. The coating material containing pigment or dye and the antibacterial material is applied on a base, and a transparent resin layer containing the antibacterial material to provide a two-layered coating, thereby improving anticorrosiveness and strength in a colored layer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
