PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation stopping method and the like for aerial cable transport device as allows both the storage of the nacelle of an aerial cable transport device and the take-out of the stored nacelle. ;SOLUTION: This operation stopping method for aerial cable transport device comprises steps of (a) braking and stopping a first nacelle 2a near the outlet port 4 of a station, (b) moving the other nacelle to be supplied to the station during the above step (a), (c) braking and stopping a second nacelle 2b, (d) moving the other nacelle to be supplied to the station during the above step (c), and (e) allowing the use of the whole length of the station in order to accumulate nacelles by repeating the above steps (c) and (d).;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
