PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To approach a state where a human is playing by performing an operation in X, Y and Z directions in a hitting test device for performing the ball hitting test of a tennis racket or the like. ;SOLUTION: Intermediate joints 12, 13 and 17-20 are interposed between a first joint 11 in a vertical direction erected from a base 11 and a final joint 22 to which a holder 24 for holding the holding part 8a of a ball hitting tool 8 is attached, the first joint 11, the intermediate joints 12, 13 and 17-20 and the final joint 22 are successively connected, the respective joints are respectively turned by different driving devices, and the ball hitting tool 8 held by the holder 24 of the final joint 22 is swung and rotated in the X, Y and Z directions and/or rotation for which the longitudinal direction of the ball hitting tool 8 held by the holder 24 is a rotary axis is performed.
