PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable fine adjustment of a thermistor constant (B constant) by equivalently considering a bipolar transistor to a thermistor. ;SOLUTION: A power source Vcc is applied to a bipolar transistor 10 via a load resistor RL in such a manner that a voltage Vc between the collector and the base is biased in the backward direction and a voltage Ve between the emitter and the base is biased in the forward direction. A voltage Vz from a stabilized power source 100 can be finely adjusted for the voltage Ve between the emitter and the base, by using resistors Ra, Rb, Rk. When a collector resistance is considered as a thermistor, the barrier height between the emitter and the base of the bipolar transistor 10 corresponds to a thermistor constant (B constant). By using this, the voltage between the emitter and the base is adjusted, and the desired B constant is obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
