METER OF ROTARY NEEDLE TYPE AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and correctly judge whether or not it is a set indicator value by adjusting to direct a rotary needle to an optimum judgment position at the set indicator value. ;SOLUTION: A rotary needle 8 is adjusted to direct an optimum judgment position P when it is set at a set indicator value. In other words, an outer frame is detached to expose a character panel 6. A stop screw 15 is loosened and the character panel 6 is rotated. After a position Ms of the set indicator value, e.g. 6 kgf/cm² is moved to the optimum judgment position P, the stop screw 15 is tightened thereby fixing the character panel 6 to a meter main body. The optimum judgment position P is a position to make it easily and correctly known that it is the set indicator value from an indication direction of the rotary needle 8 when the rotary needle 8 indicates the position Ms of the set indicator value 6 kgf/cm². The position P is present, e.g. on a perpendicular line V passing the center of the character panel 6 and directed upward. A worker can correctly and promptly judge at a glance over the rotary needle 8 whether or not it is the set indicator value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
