SPLITTING TYPE CONJUGATED FIBER SPLITTING BY SHRINKAGE DIFFERENCE AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester splitting type conjugated fiber that has interfacial cracks for promoting the mechanical division of a high compatible polyester splitting conjugated fiber thereby showing increased splitting properties. ;SOLUTION: In this polyester splitting type conjugated fiber having the splitting properties caused by shrinkage difference between the constituting fibers, the heat shrinkage of polymers constituting the individual split fibers has a difference of ≤10% between individual split filaments and has the dry heat shrinkage stress of ≤0.30 g/d and has cracks on the conjugated interfaces.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
