METHOD FOR HOISTING AND CONVEYING LONG-SIZE PIPING AND HOISTING JIG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the construction work of long-size piping by enabling the direction of the hooked long-size piping to be easily changed without performing re-hoisting work. ;SOLUTION: A gripping sleeve 14 which can be secured to the outer periphery of long-size piping 12 is provided, and a rotating ring part 26 freely rotationally mounted on the outer periphery of the gripping sleeve 14 is provided. A pin 32 with which the hook 40 of hoisting equipment can be engaged is attached to the rotating ring 26 and is set in the direction perpendicular to the direction of the axis of the gripping sleeve 14. The gripping sleeve 14 is secured to the outer peripheral surface of the long-size piping 12 by use of a lug 22, and the rotating ring part 26 is mounted on the outer peripheral surface of the gripping sleeve 14. When the piping 12 is hoisted and conveyed by engaging the hook 40 of the hoisting equipment with the hook engagement pin 32 provided on the rotating ring part 26, the long-size piping 12 can rotate about the axis of the piping of the rotating ring part 26, oscillate and rotate about the pin 32, and rotate as the hook 40 rotates horizontally, so that the long-size piping 12 can be hoisted and moved in a certain direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
